Graduation Update
So here's how it really went...
I burned the palm of my hand on the curling iron, and had to do with poorly straightened hair. But that was ok, because it rained anyway. It started raining during Dean Kauffman's first speech, and stopped just in time for us to cross the stage dry. It started raining again as the undergrads crossed. Afterward we went to Mac's, and had a good time with the family.

I loved the circus of umbrellas that sudenly emmerged behind us... At least some of them came prepared... I'm sure the people from out of state weren't expecting that one...
And the rain was a nice touch, it was fun to watch everyone soaking wet with water dripping off thier melted, warped caps.
The rain wasn't that bad, but I wanted to get back at the genious that was handing out water before the show... I had to pee so bad during the entire event...
That's why I bailed out so early... wish I had stayed around to say goodbye to everyone.
oh well...
You didn't mention the warpped hats, made of cardboard, which curled because of the downpour. They were effective, however, as umbrellas.
Oh wait, just read KC's comment, which does mention the hats. But I'm posting anyway.
Like my relative clause in the first paragraph, Katie?
Thanks for mentioning the hats Sara, it was one of my favorite parts... Looks more like a jester's cap than a grad cap now... ha... Definately added to the occasion.
