Good Times in Mt. Angel

Had a lot of good times this weekend in Mt. Angel. Saw many good friends, had fun dancing, drinking beer, cooking delicious food, and eating some delicious food. It was fantastical not to perform, although I did play a song with Christiana at the last show.

Best luck to the band in the Wallowas next weekend.

Blog Makeover

So in an attempt to Peace Corps-ize my blog... because we're leaving in 124 days... I changed up the blog a little. No more Polka Princess... that was begging to go. So now it's Peace Corps Princess... although that might not quite be right. But, this harbor template looked pretty and new. The column for posting is wider, and it displays the pictures very nicely.

It looks like I'm going to be workign more at the Blood Bank starting in about a week, so I'm trying to get things done that need to happen before we leave... the fun things :)

OK. Time to move on to the office cleaning.

Gold Beach

I went to Gold Beach with Jim, who was auditing... and it was... not particularly interesting. We took Mike with us, and he had a good time, for the most part. I'd never known 84 degrees to be so cold. The wind was incredible. Onto the pictures...

The mantis, the fish, and the jellyfish. All dead. So sad.

We were on the beach for over an hour, and never saw another dog or person.

Beautiful, windy, cold.
